TeamBinder Selected for Wiggins Island Coal Terminal
QA Software’s flagship product TeamBinder has been selected by the Gladstone Ports Corporation to provide its online project collaboration solution for the $A3.5 billion Wiggins Island Coal Terminal. After reviewing several systems, including QA Software’s LAN based document management system QDMS, TeamBinder was selected by GPC to service the Wiggins Island Coal Terminal. Located near Gladstone in Queensland, Australia, construction of the first greenfield coal terminal in the region in over 20 years will take place over 3 stages, the first due for completion in 2012.

TeamBinder Enters New Territory, in West Africa
After an extensive evaluation process Guinea Alumina Corporation Ltd. has selected TeamBinder as the collaborative document control solution for one of the largest greenfield alumina refineries in the world. TeamBinder was selected to facilitate the exchange of the large number of documents and correspondence the project would generate. Companies involved in the alumina refinery project’s joint venture, located in the West African country of Guinea, include BHP Billiton, Global Alumina International Ltd, Dubai Aluminium Company Limited, and Mubadala Development Company PJSC.
With the project already in feasibility stage and critical path infrastructure and site work underway, TeamBinder will allow for up-to-the-minute collaboration between offices in Conakry, Sangaredi, London & Brisbane.

TeamBinder Version 3.81 has arrived!
The ability to add contacts on the fly, an enhanced document review summary, a mail preview pane, and the ability to revise documents in bulk have been keenly sought after by many users.
Thanks to customer suggestions these enhancements, plus over 30 others, have been delivered with this upgrade. User feedback is an integral part of TeamBinder’s on-going advancements.

TeamBinder project wins Urban Design Awards
QA Software would like to congratulate Wycombe Group on their success in winning the Australian Institute of Building, ‘Excellence in Building Award, 2008’ in the $50 - $100 million category of Commercial Construction (Victorian chapter) for the International Centre and Business Building (ICBB) at Deakin University's Burwood campus. TeamBinder was chosen in 2004 to be the project collaboration solution for the ICBB project which has also had success at the City of Whitehorse Urban Design Awards, walking away with 3 top awards - Best New Institutional Building, Best Landscape Design (Commercial) and the Environmental Sustainability Award.

QA Software wins Tender for Changi Airport Upgrade
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has awarded a tender for the implementation of QA Software’s flagship product TeamBinder project collaboration solution for the $A 375 million upgrade of Changi Airport Terminal 1.
The TeamBinder solution was selected after stringent tender criteria to meet the needs of the CAAS with tenderers from the UK, Singapore and two from Australia all bidding for the contract.
Construction of the Terminal 1 upgrade started May and is expected to be completed by mid 2011.

Faster, Enhanced Defect Manager
IDMS Defect Manager version 2.0 released. It has a much faster and streamlined interface with PCs and QA Software’s TeamBinder Document Collaboration System Companies such as Brookfield Multiplex Constructions which use IDMS globally will benefit from this release which will now make it possible to capture, send Defect Lists and receive confirmation of fixes to/from contractors faster than ever before.
This has been made possible with the latest Microsoft .Net version 3.5 technology available to QA Software Pty Ltd who have been a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for over three years.

TeamBinder Version 3.7 Rollout. New Features requested by users like the automatic loading of the preferred “Management Summary”, setting of default filters, ability to use wildcards in searches, enhancements to automatic notifications and the selective release of redline markups are some of many new benefits of this upgrade. Also, the extremely popular XL-Upload utility for Bulk upload of documents, now supports user specified custom fields for the Document Register.

Leading Malaysian Contractor selects QDMS and QTRAK. as corporate solution for project document control. After extensive evaluation of available systems on the market, Zelan Bhd, one of Malaysia’s leading EPC Contractors has selected QA Software’s QDMS and QTRAK Systems for project document management on their future projects. Two primary factors in their decision were the close fit QDMS and QTRAK provided to the existing business process at Zelan, and depth of experience and understanding of the industry demonstrated by QA Software during the evaluation process.

Due to the increasing demand for QA Software products in USA, a new office has been opened in Dallas, Texas . Ruwais Fertilizer Industries is using TeamBinder as their project collaboration solution on the Urea De-bottlenecking Project. The Abu Dhabi-based company chose TeamBinder to facilitate the exchange of information between project members in U.A.E., Pakistan and Switzerland.
